If you have a question for how the Kingdoms server is going to work, you can let us know over on our Discord server. Here are some of the questions we have had already.
"Would there be a set amount of kingdoms or would everybody be able to start their own?"
Yes, you will be able to make your own Kingdoms, it mostly the point of the server. There will also be NPC Kingdoms where you'll be able to live if you want too and is where our quests and storyline will take place. Season One will only have one Kingdom, but we add more in the next Seasons.
Will there be a limit to loot stolen, or like a stronghold with limited space to hold the stuff you really don't want to be stolen?
To overtake a Kingdom you have to mine and capture what we're calling at the moment "Power Cubes", but that name will change :D Each Kingdom will have 3 of them, the attacking Kingdom will need all of them to take over your Kingdom. So it's down to you to protect these cubes, in a safe, secure place in your Kingdom. If an attacking Kingdom takes over your base, then there is no limit to what they can take. Of cause that doesn't stop you from hiding some loot outside your Kingdom as a just in case.
What will the combat system be like?
We have a number of mods in the pack that will add new tools and weapons for you to play with.
What system will be used for the server in regards to fighting and looting other peoples. Specifically regarding pvp, pve, raiding, permission etc?
Like is said a few questions up, you'll need all the "Power Cubes" to take someone's base. At least one player from that Kingdom needs to be online for you to attack, and you can only attack Kingdoms you have declared war on.
You'll be able to invite players to your Kingdoms, once you have done that they can edit and are also trusted on your land. You can choose to have your Kingdom invite only, or open to the public. You'll be able to ally and declare war on other Kingdoms as you choose. Declaring war on a Kingdom will notify your allies and the Kingdom you're now at war with. It's down to you how you settle this.
PVE will be based on levels, the harder the mob, the bigger the level.
Can admin kingdom king be justin and tea be the god that everybody worships and anybody who worships awake shall be crucaded
(In other words can we have a kingdoms server lore related religion.)
We have story Kingdoms with their own quests, however, there will not be an admin Kingdom. If the staff member wants to play the server, they can't all team up in one Kingdom.
What are the size restrictions of factions? Like people, land, livestock, mob grinders etc
It can be as big and you can make it. However, this could mean that one Kingdom always rules the server, so we have a measure for this. Bigger Kingdoms will have to also overcome natural events, such and fools, NPC Kingdom attacks and Dragons. This is to add more a challenge to the bigger Kingdoms and keep them for ruling over the server forever.
Will there be giant dungeons that you could raid with your entire kingdom and that would refresh every day/2 days/week?
The Dungeons we offer when the server first comes out will be limited, but over time there will be more and more. Dungeons will be base on levels and are built to be taken on by a group rather than one guy.
i've seen a lot about factions and stuff like that, is this going to be a factions only server or can i just... not?
This isn't a factions server, fighting other Kingdoms is just one part. You can choose to live in one of the NPC Kingdoms, buy your way out of fights, or have big allies that doing the fighting for you. You can't have to fight other Kingdoms, there is always a way out of it, but you are missing a big part of the server.
**Will abilities/skills in battlegrounds permanently affect the landscape? **
Not sure what this means, but if you fight another Kingdom the ruin of that Kingdom will stay there. If this isn't what you meant, please report the questions.
Will there be different areas of the server (examples: rp / rpg [think wynncraft]; pvp & pve; safezones & warzones). If so will they be scattered around (like server built towns) or whole swaths of lands (like continents)
There will be server built Kingdoms, villages and dungeons. PVE only zones will be a thing, but safezone not really. You can't PVP inside the NPC Kingdoms, well you can but the guards will see to that so I wouldn't. You can also live in build in these Kingdoms, so I guess in a way they are the safezone. The main roles of this are to help new players get started, once you leave the Kingdom, you're on your own out there.
Will there be a skill tree and different classes?
Yes, but not yet. This is a huge project of a server and we can't do all we have planned at once. Content will be released on the server as Seasons. The season will last around 3 - 4 months and in this time we'll be making building stuff for the next seasons. Different seasons will come with new Kingdoms, mods, storylines, dungeons and more. We plan for classes to be in Season Two or Three. They will be there, just not at the start.
